The Society of St. Vincent de Paul will hold its annual spring clothing drive on Saturday, April 22 from 3:30 – 5:30 PM, and Sunday, April 23 from 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM at the garage behind the church. Clean, used clothing in good condition for men, women, children, and infants is needed. Household items like pots, pans, dishes and small appliances (i.e. microwaves, toaster ovens, blenders, griddles) in working condition are also welcome. The only toys we can accept are children’s books, puzzles, board games and stuffed animals – please note that no other toys and no baby toys can be accepted. Puzzles and books for adults, with the exception of encyclopedias would be appreciated. Linens such as sheets, towels, blankets, bedspreads and curtains are also needed. Due to recalls and safety concerns, we CANNOT take booster or car seats, cribs, high chairs, playpens, strollers, swings or walkers; we also cannot take TVs, VCRs or computers. The drive will benefit the Community Survival Center in Ludlow, and tax receipts will be available for donated items. THANK YOU!
