It is with a heavy but grateful heart that I am leaving St. Michael’s Parish as Secretary after almost 24 years. I will be retiring at the end of our fiscal year ~ June 30, 2015. I have been blessed to have worked with three (3) wonderful Pastors ~ Fr. Lawrence J. Bernier, Fr. James J. Scahill, and this past year with Fr. Wayne Biernat. (not long enough!) Leaving two (2) of my dear friends and co-workers Sr. Betty & Sr. Mary is very difficult for me. I’ve learned so much from them. Their integrity, compassion, and love of everyone is a gift I will take with me. St. Michael’s is fortunate to have Rose & Sue in our Religious Education program, Daniel our great custodian, and our beautiful music ministry as well as many other groups and organizations. We also have so many wonderful volunteers, but Dottie Kagan, Maria Murphy, and Karen Brown who have helped me in the office for years are the best! I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
I look forward to the next chapter in my life spending more time with our 5 grand-children, Madison, Savannah, Wesley, Olivia & Victoria, and playing more golf with my husband Peter! To those parishioners I have known for many years, please know I will miss you very much. Your kindness to me over the years has made coming to work a pleasure. To those of you who are new to St. Michael’s, you could not be in a more welcoming, loving parish. I know that God will continue to bless St. Michael’s every day.
